Post-Workout Cool-Down Stretches
A set of static stretches to lengthen the muscles you used
A static cool-down that slowly lengthens tense muscles after training to aid recovery. Hold each pose for 30 seconds while breathing, and only stretch to a comfortable range. It is effective for easing soreness and improving flexibility.
Post-Workout Cool-Down Stretches (10movements)
- Hamstring Stretch — Hold 30 seconds x 2 reps each side
- Standing Quad Stretch — Hold 30 seconds x 2 reps each side
- Figure-Four Glute Stretch — Hold 30 seconds x 2 reps each side
- Calf Wall Stretch — Hold 30 seconds x 2 reps each side
- Kneeling Hip Flexor Lunge Stretch — Hold 30 seconds x 2 reps each side
- Doorway Chest Stretch — Hold 30 seconds x 2 reps each side
- Lat and Side Stretch — Hold 30 seconds x 2 reps each side
- Overhead Triceps Stretch — Hold 30 seconds x 2 reps each side
- Cross-Body Shoulder Stretch — Hold 30 seconds x 2 reps each side
- Cobra Abdominal Stretch — Hold 30 seconds x 2 reps
